"Your Health and Living in the Modern World"

Daivd Tong

You Are Being Showered Everyday With Electrical and Electronmagnetic Waves and Frequencies – Part 1"

We work, play and live in a technically marvelous world. Microwave ovens, switching power supplies, wireless remote controls, wireless computer connections, cordless telephones, cellular telephones, high speed computers, wireless pocket mini computers, Playstations, xboxes, Bluetooth headsets and spiral fluorescent lights are some of the many devices we see around us everyday at home, walking around, and at the office. They all have been significant milestones in the technological world that we live in.

Each of these puts out electro magnetic waves at various frequencies. Are some of these harmful? We know the benefits, but what are the costs associates with having these wonderful devices in our daily life?

David Tong lightly looks at the other side of these "benefits." Do, or could, these devices affect our health in a negative way? Join us to take a look at some of these devices. Is the price worth the benefit? Make an educated choice.

David Tong comes to us from a background of engineering, transmitters and broadcasting. Besides having the love for invention and transmission, he is Hawaii's most knowledgeable audio engineer.
